Twitter sucks balls and I hate it

I've lost since the year started some 20-30 followers tops there, I was warned that the community is terrible but I wouldn't expect it to be THAT bad, it's like I'm really stuck on a college campus filled with drug addicts, priviledged/petite burgeouise pricks sharing their intelectual brainfarts for good boy points and pats on the back, and people that think their lives are fulfilling only if they farm as much twitter points as possible for doing Absolutely Nothing.

Added with the terrible interface, unintuitive design, gimped features that make facebook and tumblr look like swiss army knives, and the godawful way it organizes the posts that I'm pretty sure it's intended to fuck with my memory/sanity by changing the order of the posts and not have an option to organize it chronologically like in Tumblr.

At least with tumblr I wouldn't see content I didn't want to see, I could just unfollow said person and NEVER have to deal with idiots comforting people who fooled them all with bullshit or fanfiction, as well as like anything I want without losing followers. Because of Tumblr's antiquated design/structure it ended up being more user-friendly and enjoyable than twitter, which is nothing but a vice to people, I feel like the loss of everyone's privacy makes it alluring, or a tool to outcast people, who knows.

Everyone should have just migrated to GAB, to be honest, but even Newgrounds gets flack for ''supporting the likes of Shadman'', so it's out of the question. Sad!

Very frustrating. And sadly we have to suffer on these horrible big platforms, until something new comes along that'll interest people. Hopefully it can be an underground thing, sorta like Newgrounds where artist can go to socialize and follow each other. Where most of these bad people you go to college with won't poke their noses. It'll just be a place for like minded people, with the same passion for art haha.

Got suspended for having Jin Roh artwork for my banner, flagged as hateful conduct. Can't log in and remove it either since I can't get past account verification prompt(refuse to give my cell #). So I'm effectively banned, my emails to them asking how long the suspension is for receive automated responses with a link to their TOS. Has been three months.

One of my biggest problems is the complete lack of any form of anonymity. I end up not Liking things I ought to because I'm scared my friends and followers will see them (even though they really shouldn't be able to) and I end up never interacting with my favorite artists due to similar needless shame. At least here I don't care about my image for whatever reason, but I totally feel you. We just need a version of Tumblr not run by weenies. I think the absolute best thing for Newgrounds would be having the homepage be a feed like Tumblr's.

When your trying to find an image on twitter, you won't find it.
at all

most artists don't tag their art so search is pretty much useless and when youre trying to find something in an artist's "gallery", good luck finding it trough the food photos and reaction posts.
if its an old tweet? too bad you can't even reach it trough years and years of tweets since theres no "oldest first"

There's only 2 or 3 people there now and they changed the layout recently to make it more ''twitter''-like just as twitter makes their browsing experience worse.

They also just removed a ton of features like videos, which is a shame. Unfortunately it's not ''it'' anymore.

@Gords @CaptainJingo I have heard some bad things about that site before it went downhill and to me it just sounded like it wanted to be 4chan/8chan but it ended up just being a fashy circlejerk which is probably what killed it, anyway the premise for it's birth was retarded anyway, the chans lucked out on it's fame that it doesn't deserve tbh.
